Steph and I went for a ride today on the tandem. It's been a while and I decided to update the beast. Disc tabs and braze-ons. All worked well. Forgot how fast these things can go.

NEW DO's

ok, so I've been thinking about these for a while. They are an old idea that untill recently haven't been used. Black Cat Bikes, I feel, can take credit for their rebirth. Salsa probably would take credit but I think, not so fast. I decided to meld some ideas. First, I liked Salsa's aluminum parts so decided to utilize them. If you fuck up and crush or maim them, bingo, QBP has them. Problem solved. Second, belt drive Do's are hard to come by in a functional manner ( stupid horizontal sliders aren't disc friendly). Third, no threaded parts on the frame = no failures. Let me know what you think.

So it's been awhile, I know, oh well.

So I've finally finished this beast and it's awesome.

Custom head badge and all, sickness.

Ended up sand blasting it with Dabsickle decals per request. Super sick bridge bits, did stainless plates with all hand done stippling for extra charactor.
